Our History
2002
The beginning
The company was established in Cyprus continuing and expanding on the business of its predecessor with Souren Dakessian as Managing Partner. Souren Dakessian having already served as Managing Director for middle east operations of the predecessor company since 1993.
2007
Establishment of company branch office – UAE
The 1st branch of the company is established in the UAE with a fully staffed office of technical engineers.
2013
Establishment of company in KSA
The company and Masoud Al Qahtani (long term business associate in KSA) partner to establish the Saudi entity.
2017
A new era
July 2017 – Souren Dakessian acquires 100 % ownership of the company in Cyprus.
December 2017 – the company name is officially changed to FEC International.
2019
Employee Share Scheme
We are very pleased to announce the introduction of the employee redeemable share scheme.
2023
Establishment of Subsidiary
We are pleased to announce the establishment of FEC International & Co Ltd a subsidiary of FEC International Ltd.
The subsidiary is based in Cyprus, operating from the company’s head offices, and will be handling all ongoing and future projects dealt through Cyprus.
Armen Ayvazian CEng, Partner in FEC International & Co Ltd, has been appointed the company’s manager.
2024
Jeddah Office Establishment
Nov 2024 We are pleased to announce the opening for Jeddah office established to better serve clientele in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
