The Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE)TM was established in 1950 and incorporated as an independent organization in 1971. It is the professional society representing those practicing the field of fire protection engineering. The Society has over 4,400 members, 71 regional and local chapters, and 16 student chapters worldwide..
Saudi Council of Engineers (KSA)
The main responsibilities of the Council are setting criteria and standards of practicing and developing this profession including licensure terms and conditions; prescribing necessary rules, regulations, and examinations for obtaining professional degrees; preparation and publication of studies and researches; organization of courses, conferences, and symposia relating to the profession; and submission of technical advice in its area of specialization in accordance with regulations approved by the Council’s Board of Directors.
Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber, ETEK
The Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΕΤΕΚ) is the statutory Technical Advisor to the State and is the umbrella organisation for all Cypriot Engineers. It was established by Law 224/1990 and is a Public Law Body with an elected Governing Body. It has an office and a Service capable of promoting its objects.
